FAQ's

Title

WILL THESE LUTS WORK ON MY CAMERA?

Yes, these LUTs are designed to work with all cameras that shoot in LOG. They have been tested on Canon, Sony, Blackmagic, ARRI, and RED cameras to ensure compatibility. Since LOG footage is a flat, desaturated color profile meant for color grading, these LUTs will help you achieve a balanced, cinematic look regardless of your camera brand. Whether you're shooting in S-Log3, C-Log, V-Log, or any other LOG profile, these LUTs will provide a great starting point for your color grading process.

HOW DO I APPLY THESE LUTS?

Applying these LUTs is straightforward, and I’ve put together a step-by-step tutorial specifically for DaVinci Resolve to walk you through the process. In the tutorial, I cover how to import the LUTs into your workflow, apply them to your footage, and make necessary adjustments to get the best results.

Since every shot is different, I also explain how to fine-tune key settings like contrast, exposure, and saturation to match your specific scene. Whether you're new to color grading or a seasoned editor, this tutorial will ensure you get the most out of these LUTs and achieve a polished, cinematic look with ease.

DO THEY WORK WITH CAPCUT?

Yes, they do! CapCut supports .CUBE files, which is the format these LUTs come in. You can import them directly into your CapCut project and apply them to your clips just like any other filter. While CapCut doesn’t offer as much control as something like DaVinci Resolve, you can still get a beautiful cinematic look with these LUTs - especially when combined with basic exposure and contrast tweaks inside the app. Perfect for quick edits on the go.

DOES THIS PACK COME WITH REC709 LUTS?

No. These LUTs are designed specifically for LOG footage and are meant to take your image from a flat LOG profile to a polished, cinematic look. The Rec709 conversion is already baked into each LUT, so there's no need for a separate Rec709 LUT. Just apply it directly to your LOG footage, and you’ll get both the base conversion and the stylized grade in one step.

WHAT EDITING SOFTWARE DO THEY WORK WITH?

These LUTs come in standard .CUBE format, which is supported by most major editing programs, including DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and more. Whether you’re editing on a desktop or mobile, you’ll be able to apply them with ease.

DOES IT COME WITH A TUTORIAL?

Yes! I include a step-by-step, 30-minute tutorial where I walk you through exactly how I use every single LUT in the pack. You’ll learn how to import them, apply them to your footage, and make the right adjustments to get the most cinematic results. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, this will help you use the LUTs with confidence.
